5th generation wireless systems, abbreviated 5G, are improved wireless network technologies deploying in 2018 and later. The primary technologies include: Millimeter wave bands offer performance as high as 20 gigabits per second, Massive MIMO offers performance up to ten times current 4G networks. Since Jio has stepped into the Indian telecom industry, almost every person has started using the 4G internet. At present 4G internet has spread completely. The world is waiting for 5G internet as well as using 4G internet. All companies are making efforts for this.

The 5th generation wireless systems, or 5G in short, is about to take over the telecom market in India. Since last 48 hours, several new developments have been reported with respect to 5G deployment in India, both from private and Govt. sector. According to Airtel Chief Technology Officer, the technology will be used first in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. He told that he is deploying this advanced pre-5G technology to enable high-speed and high-capacity network experience in the stadium.

Now, talking about MIMO technology, this technology is named Multiple Input Multiple Output. According to Airtel, this technology strengthens the network’s capacity of 5 to 7 times in the same spectrum. So, in this way, around the stadium, customers will be able to experience the Internet speed today.

For tech enthusiasts, this is indeed a good time to be alive.
