The Test series being played between South Africa and Australia has consistently been in the spotlight due to controversy. First to confront the players of both sides and now tamper with ball in the third test by Kangaroo player in Cape Town.

During this time Bancroft put his hand in his pocket and took out a chip and was taken into the camera while removing its leather. This video then became viral on social media rapidly. People are criticizing Bancroft on this move.
Bancroft has been charged by match referee Andy Pycroft with a Level 2 offence of attempting to alter the condition of the ball. He has been also imposed with a fine which will be adjusted with his match fee of about 50-100%.
